The world is currently filled with various eminent persons. One of the most interesting of these includes Chip Conk. This man has lived through it all and done most of the things that other upstarts are doing today. For starters, you will be pleased to note that one of the things that Mr. Conk firmly believes in is the fact that business happens to be one of the most sacred affairs any family can engage in. This belief is based on Conk’s personal experience. While he was a student at UCSB, he organized an amazing contest in which members of his sorority voted for the cutest of all boys in the whole campus. He used the photos of the winners to start a campus wide calendar, the proceeds of which enabled him live a good student life.
Chip Conk later landed upon the realization that if he could get his fellow students to buy his calendars, there might be people outside the campus who would actually pay him money for the calendars. He therefore started Day Dream Publishing. However, knowing that a business cannot be run totally by one person, he got his siblings to help him in the venture.
The earlier calendars that this firm put out had the simplest of images. Luckily, Chip Conk and his siblings managed to get rights that allowed them to print calendars that featured various characters from the animation, “Lion King”, various NFL and NBA players, musical hits such as Shania Twain, Garth Brooks and The Beatles.
